Adobe Flex
Visualization of data is a key component in CEP applications. The most common mechanism to present streaming output to users is via Dashboards. The dashboards provide immediate visual feedback and can tell users when to take action. Implementing dashboards with real-time CEP systems is key for a well-rounded approach, whether monitoring stock trades or power grids, amusement parks or manufacturing processes.
Adobe Flex provides a powerful toolkit for developing customized real-time visualization UIs and dashboards.
Starting with Release 5.1.2, the Coral8 Engine ships with an Adapter that enables easy integration wtih Adobe Flex for real-time, streaming output from Coral8 CEP applications.
The Algorithmic Trading Dashboard Example
The Algorithmic Trading dashboard example uses Adobe Flex 2 to display four types of output visualizations:

- A Line Chart
- A Bar Chart
- Textual Alerts
