Continuous Defense Intelligence: Live Threat Monitoring & Alerts
Continuous Defense Intelligence demonstrates a defense intelligence use case that leverages Coral8's Complex Event Processing (CEP) platform for monitoring live threat cell phone activities and caller's whereabouts in the San Francisco Bay Area. This demo provides defense intelligence analysts with continuous visibility and insight into threat activity. For example, threat cell calls – both the origination and destination phone numbers – are first being monitored. When each call reaches the threshold time duration, Coral8 Engine issues a threat assessment alert that, in turn, triggers the proximity tracking function to correlate the phone and GPS data for purposes of locating the callers. A simulation using Google Earth shows voluminous threat activity as it is happening, with real time location streaming data being fed into Coral8. Coral8 generates additional warnings when threat members come within a certain distance of one another. The demo also shows behind-the-scenes queries written in Coral8's Continuous Computation Language (CCL) and graphic visualization of real time threat data analysis through Coral8 Portal.
