Coral8 Engine to Bring Real-time Processing to Enterprise Security Monitoring Services

MOUNTAIN VIEW, California, January 16, 2007 -- Coral8, Inc., a leading provider of Complex Event Processing (CEP) software, today announced that VigilantMinds Inc., a global provider of information security services and solutions, has selected the Coral8 Engine for real–time event processing functionality within its SecureXone™ Security Information Portal, an integrated package of managed information security services. VigilantMinds selected Coral8’s CEP software for its speed of development, and the combination of flexibility and real-time performance it adds to their software infrastructure in analyzing complex IT network, system and software security data and events.

Enterprise security is a mounting concern across all industries, and is becoming increasingly difficult to manage in-house. VigilantMinds is using the Coral8 Engine for real-time processing and analysis of the high-volume security data and event streams received from client networks, which include system logs, network devices, intrusion detection systems and firewalls.
